    Agatha Christie Experience

    The 'Agather Christie Experience' is a proper day out, and through the operator their are various options available to you. You can take the round trip to Agatha Christie's House in Greenway by boat, from princess pier in Torquay, or you can include the experience of traveling on a vintage bus for the return Journey. The excursion takes you to Brixham, then on around the coast and up the river Dart to Dartmouth. From Dartmouth you'll cruise up the stunning river Dart to Agather Christies Greenway Estate. It's a fantastic day out and you'll be blown away (not literally) by the scenery along the way.

    Dartmouth Day Cruise

    Dartmouth day cruise is a great way to get to and visit Dartmouth from Torquay. Their are two operator which run daily cruises to Dartmouth from Torquay. Greenway Ferries day cruise (bronze) to Dartmouth leaves Torquay from Princess Pier at 11am and gives you 3 hours in Dartmouth. Dartmouth Day Cruise departs at 11.10am from Torquay's North Quay steps which is the Lilycot side of the footbridge on the inner harbour wall. If your planning to visit Dartmouth whilst on holiday at in Torquay then going by boat is by far the best way to get their. Dartmouth is an intriguing destination and best viewed from the river on a boat. During your trip you'll have time to spend ashore in Dartmouth for lunch, or just to sit about and soak up the atmosphere. Dartmouth is truly a unique place and like Torquay, is steeped with history.

    The Sea Fari Wildlife Cruise is a new boat trip to Torbay. This boat trip is designed to get you closer to the water and experience sea wildlife at close hand. You can get involved and hoist crab pots and get really close to what's swimming or flying around in the water. The Sea Fari Wildlife Cruise takes an hour and a half and runs from Torquay and Brixham. Additional sea life experiences can be added to your trip including 'The Living Coasts'.

    The Sunset Illumination Cruise is a must on a hot summer evening. The Illumination cruises depart from Torquay, Brixham and Dartmouth. From port you'll cruise around the bay of Torbay and from Dartmouth you'll cruise along the River Dart. Torbay and Dartmouth are very beautiful locations and at sunset they show off their many illuminations. Their are licensed bars aboard, so you can relax and soak up the amazing atmosphere.

    Dartmouth to Totnes Ferry

    The Dartmouth to Totnes ferry service is a great way to visit Totnes. Totnes is one of the oldest towns in the UK dating back to AD 907 and has a lot to offer and is well worth a visit. In addition to the beautiful scenery around the river Dart, Totnes is a lovely place to go shopping as it's full of unique, in dependant traders. Saturday is a good day to visit as its market day.     Torquay to Brixham Ferry

    The Torquay to Brixham ferry service is the best way to get to Brixham. Brixham is one of the UK largest fish ports and is also one of Torbay's most popular local attractions. Their are several operators you can choose from to suit your itinerary as Brixham links to lots of other ferry routes. The link to the 'Western Lady' above, operates from the North Quay on Torquay harbourside and Greenway Ferry Torquay to Brixham ferry service runs from Princess pier on the promenade. We often catch the ferry to Brixham, for us it still feels like going on holiday, and its a fun way to travel. We sometimes eat fish and chips and go for a pint in one of the numerous inns. We also have lunch at Brixham Yacht club, which I think has the best views in the town.

    Mackerel fishing is really popular in and around Torbay. As well as a fantastic fish to eat, when maker al are shoaling its a real spectacle to watch. During the summer months mackerel arrive in their thousands to Torbay to feed. There are several mackerel fish trip providers around the bay.     Round Robin Torquay - Boat, Train and Bus Trip

    The Round Robin is a great day out, and a very popular local attraction. As the title suggests, leaving from Torquay at 10am (outside Debenhams on the harbourside) the Round Robin includes a bus from Torquay, then the Dartmouth Steam Railway from Paignton to Kingwear. From Kingswear you'll cruise up the river Dart to Totnes. The return journey to Torquay is by bus. If you wish to take the Round Robin I would suggest booking early.
