Whilst on the downs you'll find loads of places to eat and drink. Or you can either walk down to Oddicombe or Babbacombe beach, or you can take the Babbacombe Cliff Railway to save your legs!

The Crown and Sceptre is a traditional local inn. The Crown is well worth a visit if you like a pub with character. The beer is very well kept and their is a lot to choose from. If traditional jazz is your thing it's played live on Tuesday evenings and if you like real home cooking lunch is served from Wednesdays to Sundays.

    Walking in Devon

We're back walking in Devon again, it's been too long away from the coast path! We walked from Torcross to East Prawle, which is an amazing stretch of coastline around Start Point, in the South Hams district of Devon. The walk is quite gentle, mostly flat and is about 8.5 miles long. East Prawle was our destination along with the infamous Pigs Nose pub, which is always an event not to be missed. We camped over and walked back to the car the next day. For more information about walking in Devon, please follow the link to Lilycot's walking holidays page.
